I went to the Miu Miu store last week and checked out the bag that I wanted to buy. I was trying to check how much it costs here and how much I will be saving by buying from either in Europe or in the US. It is definitely around $500 - 600 cheaper to buy from either Diabro or from net-a-porter. Especially from the latter's Europe branch.

But the Miu Miu Nappa Quilted Hobo bag was not as pretty in person as it was in the photo. These are some of the items I saw from their Ion branch that I liked (different colors are available in Ion, images and items are available from Diabro):

Wednesday Lust Focus - Macbook Aluminum Unibody

A friend brought one to show me and I must say I am seriously tempted to replace my MacBook.

It's only a year and a few months since I bought my computer. Its predecessor lasted for 3 years. And I'm sure this one can last as long, I just happen to like the new MacBook a lot.

Hmmmm. I must control myself. I wonder how long I will last....

Wednesday Lust Focus - Nikon D90

It's finally here. The Nikon D90.



I've heard good previews about this camera and the review from dpreview shows good potential for the camera. The Nikon site still does not show all its feature when you try to compare it with older cameras but the information they have up now definitely shows promise. I wonder how much it is going to cost.

September is definitely a good month to wait for because of the following:
1. Nikon D90 (officially out on August 25 in Europe) - I don't believe this is available yet in SG
2. Brisingr - 3rd book from Christopher Paoloni's Inheritance Cycle (Eragon and Eldest being the first two)
3. Birthday month
4. Start of the "ber" months - It's Christmas already!

Sooooo. It is finally coming. The 3G iPhone is going to be available in a dozen countries on July 11. It seems in Asia, only Hong Kong and Japan are included in the first wave. The rest of the world has no definite release date yet but I was told that the phone will only be available in Singapore on September. Good. Just in time for my birthday.

I made my reservation through Singtel's iphone reservation link. But you also need to go to a Singtel hello store to confirm your reservation (yup, done both today).

The phone will be available in 8G (black) or 16G (black or white). And from what I read, it can be synched up using Microsoft Exchange Active Synch. Which means I can use this phone to synch up my calendars at the office. Woo hoo! Imagine having the phone I want and the phone I need rolled into one.

I can't wait for September....
