In the book I am currently reading, The Mark of the Assassin by Daniel Silva, I found a funny excerpt that had me laughing inside the train.
A character in the book, a CIA case officer, was complaining that in order to raise the Agency's dismal morale, the supervisors have had to allow so many things they would not normally do. It has come to a point where the Agency should change its motto from 'and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free' to 'people caring about people'.
Okay, so maybe some people might not find it funny but it definitely gave me a laugh this morning.
