A funny event happened to me yesterday. I was trying to buy a pack of cigarettes for a friend at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

When I asked for a pack of cigarettes, the lady looked at me suspiciously and said:

"Are you 18? You can only buy if you are 18 and above."

To which I replied, "Auntie, I am definitely over 18."

For those who know my actual age, I think they'd find it funny as well. It had me laughing several times every time I remember.
